1Wal’aadi yaati dabha
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath),
2Fal moori yaati qadha
And strike sparks of fire,
3Fal mugheeraati subha
And push home the charge in the morning,
4Fa atharna bihee naq’a
And raise the dust in clouds the while,
5Fawa satna bihee jam’a
And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;-
6Innal-insana lirabbihee lakanood
Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful;
7Wa innahu ‘alaa zaalika la shaheed
And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds);
8Wa innahu lihubbil khairi la shadeed
And violent is he in his love of wealth.
9Afala ya’lamu iza b’uthira ma filquboor

That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day?

The Surah in Arabic text

VerseArabic Text
